Flower Show - Nuwara Eliya 2012 - April Blooms
This year our thoughts went back to nearly 15 years back. We use to participate in the flower show.
Suddenly we got an application for flower show which conducted by Nuwara Eliya Mounicpal
Council.19th Evening we took 20 pot plants from our collection and we could arrange three cut flowers
for the competition. And also in the flower arrange competition Evangel participated under 12 years competition and Pricilla could participate over 17 competition. Out of all for the pot plants we have
got 3rd place, For mix flowers Got First place and Evangel has got second place for her arrangement.

Teachers Gathering with Sister Margit 4th April 2012
All the teachers and those in-charge of the schools gathered at the school hall in Nuwara Eliya to meet Sister Margit. Nearly 20 were gathered together with the sponsor team. Sister Margit has explained about the funds for the schools.To take care the about children and any problems to be contact Miss. Ruth Herath the Principal of the schools. The teachers were given special inspiring stories about the children in their respective schools. The gathering end with a lunch.

The 50th Anniversary Art & Essay Competition...
When the day was announced about the competition among the sponsor children and the school children remarking the 50th anniversary, students were eager to participate in the competition.
Nearly 250 children part taken in the competition according to their ability, Writing Essay or poem,Drawing remarking the 50th anniversary.Middle of March we could bring all the out comes to a hall for a exhibition.
At the 50 years anniversary on the 24th and 25th of March all who came for the anniversary could see the exhibition.Not only that children who has got places in their competition was awarded with certificates and gifts.
