The month of April is a seasonal month for Nuwara Eliya. Everywhere you can see varieties of flowers. As its a vacational month for the school children, many come to Nuwara Eliya.
For the visitors there are various things to enjoy such as Carnival, Motor car races, Motor cross, Flower show, Horse races, Road races, Hill climb and with 'Avurudu Uthsawaya'.
On the1st of April all the schools will come through the town in a parade playing their school bands. Some of our sponsor children are in their school band. You can see some of the photos below:
