Smyrna Fellowship - Nuwara Eliya

The section of the land which was leased out for cultivation in order to bring local income to Smyrna was not a success. Smyrna took over the land and is now in the process of starting organic cultivation. We have started producing the first lot of Eco vegetables.
Our aim is to prepare the land for organic Farming. A small area is set aside for nursery and we have planted beetroot, leeks, red cabbage, lettuce and potatoes. We have also planted a few orange, passion fruit, curry leaves and guava plants.
